A quick house update,  last week the footers were poured and today the masons begin our foundation!  The foundation should not take too long, as our builders are anticipating starting next week.  Also worth mentioning, the weather looks great for at least the next 10 days!

Chase and his grandparents...

Chase enjoying a nice dinner with his grandparents

Two weeks ago, we met my Dad and his wife Christine in Virginia for a farewell dinner.  They were in D.C. as my dad was preparing for his trip to Albania for two years.  Maggie, Chase and I met them half way between D.C. and Madison for a quick dinner.  Chase was very excited to see them both and was on his best behavior:)  He provided some great entertainment for us all.  My Dad is now in Tirana, Albania (Tirana: Tiranë or Tirana) is the capital and largest city of the Republic of Albania. It was founded in 1614 by Sulejman Pasha and became Albania’s capital city in 1920.  He is working there as the Director of several law enforcement training facilities located in and around Albania.  From the few pictures I have seen, it looks to be a beautiful country and he seems to be settling in nicely.  We hope to get the opportunity to go visit him some time next year.  We will see him again in October for a family wedding in Vermont.
